Family Wellness Care FAQs

Clear answers — including “when to worry.”

What is family wellness chiropractic care?
Family wellness care focuses on helping people of all ages move better, feel better, and stay active with conservative chiropractic care. We use a movement-based exam, choose gentle options as needed, and add simple posture and mobility guardrails that fit real life.
Is chiropractic safe for kids and teens?
For many children and teens, conservative care can be safe when the exam is appropriate and techniques are modified for age, size, and comfort. We use gentle, age-appropriate options and will refer out when needed.
Do you treat pregnant patients?
Yes. We provide pregnancy and prenatal chiropractic care with modified positioning and gentle techniques. Many pregnant patients seek help for low back pain, pelvic girdle/SI discomfort, and posture strain as the body changes.
Can family chiropractic help with headaches and neck tension?
It can. Many headache patterns are linked to neck tension, posture strain, and restricted motion. We evaluate your movement and triggers, then build a plan that may include conservative care and simple home steps.
How often should my family come in?
It depends on goals, symptom history, and response to care. We don’t use a cookie-cutter schedule. We set expectations after the exam and adjust based on progress and lifestyle needs.
Do we need imaging before starting care?
Not always. Imaging is more likely after significant trauma, suspected fracture, progressive neurologic symptoms, red flags, or symptoms that aren’t improving as expected. We’ll tell you clearly if imaging or medical evaluation is needed.
What does a first family wellness visit look like?
We start with history and goals, then a movement-based exam. We explain findings in plain language and outline options. If care is appropriate, we may begin with gentle, targeted treatment and send you home with simple steps that fit your routine.
When should I worry and seek urgent care?
Seek urgent evaluation for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, new weakness/numbness, loss of balance, chest pain/shortness of breath, fever with severe neck/back pain, symptoms after significant trauma, or any rapidly worsening condition.
